- Getting the working right but writing the answer wrongly.
- Not reading the instructions.
- Not eliminating/taking out the wrong answers (in MCQs).
- Trying to solve the whole question in your head before writing it down on paper.
- Failing to check the 'possibility' of the answer.
- Not being neat and structured in your working. Doing your working all over the place.
- Not using models to understand the question.
- Writing certain numbers incorrectly. (For example, a ‘0’ might look like a ‘6’)
- Not finding out what the question is really asking for.
- Not writing the correct units.
