We are the CHAMPIONS!

Yes! Our class emerged the champions! They were all close fights. First it was a 3-2 win over 5 Humility in the quarter-finals, 3-2 win over 5 Neatness in the semi-finals and finally, a 3-1 win over 5 Diligence in the grand finals! Kudos to our players who performed true to our class name - Excellence: doing our very bests!

To our players, I hope that this has been an interesting and enriching experience for the 10 of you. Like I have mentioned, they were all very close fights. No doubt our opponents are very skillful, what matter most are:
  • our strategy
  • the actual performance
  • our understanding of our opponents
  • keeping our heads cool
  • thinking about our own performances - what had went right or wrong? (self-reflection)
  • not repeating the same mistakes
  • TEAMWORK!
Although we do not have a strong cheer leading team beside us, like the other classes, the unity and encouragement shown among the 10 of you are impressive.

Well done 5 Excellence! :)

Kudos to our 10 players again - Captain Marcus, Ling Ling, Chen Liang, Ping Yee, Eunice, Peishi, Jiayin, Junsheng, Yihan and Desmond.

Kudos means honour and glory. Nope, it is not a Japanese word but an English word.

Both Yong Li and Shao Lin are very skillful as individual players. However they have forgotten that they were playing as a team.

Junsheng and Jiayin emerged as winners because they played as a team, and with good strategies. :)
