Chunk-at-a-time!

5 Excellence!

As promised, below is our 1st chunk-at-a-time! Although it is fun, please do take note of the composition writing skills involved. As you read through again, do take note of the following points:-
  • A clear 'introduction' paragraph ('when, where, who?')
  • 1 or more 'body' paragraphs ('what, how?')
  • A 'conclusion' paragraph ('what happened in the end?')
  • Grammatically correct sentences
  • Appropriate punctuations

Enjoy your very own masterpiece! Although I find the moral of the story to be a little inappropriate, here goes...

------------------------------------------------------------------------

abcdefOne bright sunny day, Desmond was walking outside Xinghua Primary School. Suddenly, he saw something shining on the floor. He took a closer look at the object and found that it was a one dollar gold coin.

abcdefDesmond picked up the one dollar coin and kept it in his wallet. He decided to go to a nearby provision shop to buy a snack. When Desmond was choosing the snacks, he realised that the one dollar coin was missing. He was curious to find out where the one dollar coin went. Hence he ran out of the shop, only to find a girl picking up a one dollar coin.

abcdefDesmond said, “Hi!” with a blushed face. He was staring at the girl until his jaw dropped. The girl was disgusted by Desmond’s actions. She took out a pepper spray and sprayed it onto Desmond’s eyes. She then left the one dollar coin on the floor and ran as fast as she could.

abcdefPoor Desmond immediately ran to the nearest toilet to wash his eyes and cried because he had lost the girl of his dream. The moral of the story is, 'Love is better than money'.
